Subaru Rally Team Canada won this year’s round of the Lincoln Electric Rally of the Tall Pines, which was held last weekend. This is the 6th round of the 7 rallies that makes up the 2017 Canadian Rally Championship season.
The Subaru WRX STI Type RA NBR Special set a new lap record for a four-door sedan at the Nurburgring Nordschleife race track, setting a time of 6:57.5. The time was achieved using the Nürburgring timing equipment and was officially verified by track officials.

Subaru Canada announced that special edition BRZ and WRX STI models, named Hikari Edition, will be available across Canada featuring a striking Hyper Blue exterior paint finish. The Hikari Edition (pronounced “he-ka-ree”) vehicles also feature specific black painted exterior trim accents, black wheels and unique blue interior seating and trim enhancements.
