Nissan has brought reality and virtual reality together with the ultimate remote-control car for gamers, a Nissan GT-R /C which is operated by a DualShock 4 video game controller. GT Academy winner and NISMO race car driver Jann Mardenborough took the remote-control super car around the Silverstone race track reaching speeds of more than 200 km/h while controlling the GT-R from the cockpit of a helicopter.

DS Virgin Racing Formula E driver Sam Bird took the prototype DS E-TENSE concept car for a ride through the Westfield London mall in London England. It was the dynamic debut of the car in the UK. It was also the first time a car has been driven throughout the mall of the prestigious retail destination. The silent-running, zero emissions, all-electric concept car was the perfect vehicle for Bird, whose day-job is racing the all-electric DSV race car, as he took DS E-TENSE for a secret nighttime spin past high street to high-end shops and sales outlets inside Westfield London.

Ultra-exotic Ford GT Deliveries Commence in Canada

We were invited for a ride in one of the first 2017 Ford GT cars delivered in Canada, that belonging to Richard L’Abbe’s. For the occasion, we happily ventured to Calabogie Motorsports Park, about an hour west of Ottawa, Ontario. For a new Ford GT, Canadian buyers pay about CAD$650,000. But that’s only in the very unlikely case that they qualify for one. So far, more than 6,500 people have applied for only 1,000 total Ford GTs, which Ford will release in batches of 250 per year.
